The transwarp is being odd. I installed it in a apple ii+ and I get errors during the self card test error type 2 and error type 3. Also the disk drives stop auto starting. In basic if I press enter few times there random garbled characters popping on the screen. I did the dip switches correctly also had the card in slot 0 with the language care removed and installed. Also took out all the cards and got the same issue.
Now I set the speed in half it read the drives but wouldn't boot and still got error 2, when I set it to 1mhz it boots fine with the logo intro.
Also the ram is being used because there was no lang card and I had a 64k program load. But the self test still showed up with error 2 at one MHz
So I tried 2 other ii+ computers same issue exactly. I tried the apple IIe computer not enhanced. The card works in the iie just fine, passed all tests etc.
My question is did you use it only on a iie? Also I read it should work on a ii+ . What do you think the problem is with the ii+?
I noticed the firm ware is 1.0 latest is 1.4 is the later firmware compatible with all apple iis?
I would like to use it on my apple ii+ Odd that apple iie works fine. Do you guys thing I'm missing something here?
I've used a Transwarp in my II+ for decades in slot 0. Have you tried re-seating the chips on the card?
Yeah I reseated.all the chips in the card and still no go. Im totally stumped. What do you set the memory settings at? Do you have lang card installed.
