Zip chip in Apple ///?

Here's a question: would a Zip Technologies Zip Chip work in an Apple ///?

I can't see any obvious reason it wouldn't. Presumably one could boot into the emulator to make any settings changes.

Well, maybe the Zip's expecting an Apple ][ architecture.

Hm. Didn't Apple do something similar for the Iic Plus? Wonder if that package would work in a ///?

nope. i/o addresses are hardwired into the zipchip. the said addresses don't do anything (or does different things) on a III.
