Kiwis for Breakfast

I love making software do things it wasn't intended to do.

Drupal wasn't, as far as I know, intended to run two separate forum systems off of one user base, sharing users/passwords/sessions/etc. But we're doing it for Kiwi. And that's just cool. And I'm sure once all the features requests come in (there's already one requesting a merged tracker option) we'll do some more impossible things.

Now, I'm off for breakfast at Milliways.

(Now some Drupal guru is going to pop up and tell me that I just needed the ezKiwi module or something)

On another note, I bumped into a fellow in the Linux lab today who was polite enough to inform me that I was clearly a Mac user. Something about how I look making it obvious. Apparently I'm a stereotype. But if Kiwi works out as it should, I should have enough whuffie that it won't matter.

Doing the impossible is fun. In fact, I'd say that anything that's never at least been thought to be impossible isn't worth doing. Keep up the good work.

Oh, and you know what the difference between a hardcore OS X geek and a hardcore Linux geek is? The OS X geek has style. (in many cases, better hygiene and more money too, but not all). Your hair was probably more well kept than his, and I'd bet cash-money that at least one of your visible pieces of clothing during the events in question was black. Am I right?

BTW, if you were in the linux lab wearing His Steveness's standard black shirt and blue jeans or with a visible iPod, you shouldn't have been surprised to have been picked out as a Mac user.

Blue cargo's, black t-shirt, my hair's currently rather orange with my roots showing prominently. Today there was fauxhawkedness.
