New processor upgrade

I recently got a Sonnet 1GHz upgrade for my G4 AGP. I installed it and it shows up in system profile and runs faster then it did. My question is are these things suppose to lock up when using multiple programs? I had no problem before running several programs at once with the factory 450Mhz. Could it be the 100MHz bus?

have you adjusted the cpu ena

have you adjusted the cpu enabler program or installed it cause it might need to be adjusted. if you have installed sonnets cpu enabler program and you have adjusted everything proper. i would contact sonnet telling them your problem.
