iPod Mini Rip Off-Macvision
I was flipping channels on the tv and saw these people selling an mp3 player it was an iPod Mini copy. It is even the same size as an iPod Mini. They were offering black, white and pink.
I guess this isn't a copyright infringement since the iPod Mini has been discontinued?

and whats the deal with these "HP iPods" ? I was walking throught radio shack the other day, and I saw this little box, marked Ipod mini, and when when I looked in closer, I noticed that there were HP logos all over it. Whats the deal with that? When I asked the people at the radio shack, they just said "HPs been making them all along" which I know isnt true.
Is there an actuall HP stamp on the mini its self?

HP made iPods for a year or two. There were/are indeed HP iPod minis. They look identical to Apple iPod minis, except the HP logo is engraved on the back of the iPod mini's case along with the Apple logo.
Also, HP iPods are covered by HP's warranty and service support, not Apple's.

That's not even close to what people will do with knockoffs. See here and here for some more knockoffs. One of them even has the iPod branding!
