I'm sitting under the glass elevator in the NYC Apple store and I figured that I ought to post to AF. Yet another pic of this store attached.

Honestly...I think I like my friendly neighbourhood reseller better. Less crowded with more attention per customer, even if they have less stock and demos.

About going to HOPE. The Apple Store doesn't impress me that much but I probably would have swung by if I was in...well... The Big Apple (pun intended).

I've had 3 articles published in 2600, and a 4th coming soon in the next issue. I've met Emmanuel and the gang a few times at DefCon but never made it out to HOPE. Maybe in '08.

Cracking open the black box

We just need to manually pick it and get it to turn 1/16 a turn then make an imprint of the pins with something we can use as a temporary key after it hardens. Paraffin or some other hard wax would probably work just fine. I just need to get out to your neck o' the woods sometime. Actually, it's really easy for me to hit I-70 from work. I just need to ditch the bus one of these days and bomb out there.
