17" Studio Display LCD

Question about this display...I bought one of these for my father way back when, and I recently just acquired another one for my girlfriend. The one I got for my dad has graphite apple logos on the front and rear, and the other one has shiny silver plastic apple logos. I vaguely remember noticing it before now, but it never really registered until now.

I've googled around a bit and I can't seem to find any mention of this update anywhere. So, was it just a cosmetic change or was there a specs upgrade as well? Thanks!

If I remember the graphite 17

If I remember the graphite 17'' lcd was from when the original g4 towers came out and I believe it was the 2nd largest display out then with the 15'' below it, but after that I think they updated to the silver apple logos when the QS or mirror door G4 came out and the 15'' was dropped, but im not sure. I believe both have the same native res.(possibly brighter though?)

Thanks for your reply. Its as good an answer as any. I just wish I knew for sure. I suppose that had there been any real change besides a slight alteration of the case plastics, I would have been able to find it.
