Hardware Hacks
My imac's FBT failed, i decided to do the hack here http://www.macmod.com/content/view/414/193/ . i got the imac disassembled, discharged with no problems, just before i was going to put the lcd in i decided to test it connected to my powerbook, i pushed in the power cable to the lcd. (this one has the ac adapter integrated) immediatly after i put the power cable in it started to buzz, 2 seconds later the resistor at R613 popped and burnt up, i unpluged the cable. So now i have a really nice lcd, with a dead power board. My question
Would i be able to power it off an atx psu?
