Think we will see any good fruit out of this?

Steve Jobs comments about possible non-DRM iTunes music, and alternatives to the future of it, as well as a current look at the state of DRM vs. Non DRM Music
Interesting article Steve J. I hope to see some good fruit out of our favorite fruit company. I hope it will be the Death of DRM Music soon, and maybe we can skip CD distribution altogether. This might be a win-win scenario if Steve can convince them to take it out of the agreement

Its on the right track, but I very much doubt whether the record companie$ will want to play along. The RIAA is not known for its ability to consider things rationally...
