Mod: iBook Webpad

I have the book The Cult of Mac and it has a Mod to turn a iBook (Clamshell) into a webpad is there any online instructions to do this have any of you done this ?

No instructions per se but if you hunt for itablet or tablet powerbook or tablet ibook you should find a couple of different versions with at least some build info.
