Original screen color

Hi, I just got a great deal on a used Color Classic, I was given the deal because the residant "Mac Expert" said that the screen was BLUE,being new at this, I need to ask, What was the original screen color?. Otherwise, the video is sharp and defined and everything works for $35.00.

it's supposed to be a color display.

The "happy Mac" screen at sta

The "happy Mac" screen at startup should appear grey. Desktop colour will depend on the desktop pattern used. Window backgrounds should appear white.

A slight blue tint may be correctable by making a few internal adjustments to the colour pots. Missing colours can be a bigger problem.

maybe only bad solder joints

maybe only bad solder joints on one of the color signal lines. nothing that hard to fix.
