Is it Quicktime, or me?

Whenever I view a Quicktime video, it works fine. Whenever I go to Apple's website and view a video, this happens:
1. Video doesn't load and random colors appear
2. Whenever a video plays, the brightness and contrast are messed up and everything is pink
3. The Apple software updater window pops up, then my browser crashes.
I am running Windows XP, Firefox 2 and 3(Beta), and this normally doesn't happen to me much. If anyone can tell me what to do besides reinstalling, that would be nice. Thank you.

I'd try un and then re-instal

I'd try un and then re-installing QuickTime.

I got it working.

I found out what the problem was, although uninstalling and reinstalling helps too.

ive had it crash on me when i

ive had it crash on me when i go to their site if their update manager comes up asking me to update... its a pain really, but once its updated, for me it worked fine.
