iBook G4 1GHZ

Hi my iBook froze and had to turn it off by keeping power button pressed.
When I turn it on I can hear the fan and the start up chime but the system won't start.
All I get is a blank screen.

How can this be solved?

Zap the PRAM?

Have you tried zapping the PRAM? Hold command+option+P+R right after you turn it on.
