slow down apple iigs

I have a IIgs and I want to slow it down to play Apple Choplifter. It goes way too fast on all my IIe games and other games. How do I slow it down then boot the disk?

Slowing down the GS

Austin,

After you have turned on the GS press Control-Open Apple-Esc all at the same time. This will get you into the Control Panel. From there you can change the system speed to 1MHz so that Choplifter, and any other old Apple II game, will run at normal speed.
