Keep IIgs from booting from any slot but 5

How can I tell my IIgs to ONLY boot from slot 5, and stay that way either on or off? Thanks!

Pick a slot to boot from in the control panel

From the control panel (ctrl-openApple-esc) go into Slots. There's an item name "StartUp:" that lets you pick "Scan" (the defualt), which will scan all slots from 7 down to 1, or you can pick "Slot 5" that would only boot from slot 5.

Unless the battery goes bad a

Unless the battery goes bad and it reset to default everytime you turn it off.
