iBook g4 14" LCD compatibility

As having just gone on this voyage of discovery myself - I can tell you this. Yes, they are interchangeable, BUT - you may have to replace the lvds cable. The different manufacturers of LCD panels use different lvds cables. It's not as easy as the 12" iBook G4 - where all the different panels work with the same lvds cable.

I recently bought two broken iBook G4 14" - one 1ghz with a bad logic, and a 1.33 with a cracked lcd. The lvds cable had to go with the lcd from the 1ghz into the 1.33 - however I had to remove the modem as the LVDS cable blocked access to the port on the logic board for the internal modem. (no great loss for me as I have fios at home and access to wifi is plentiful no matter where you go nowadays)
