adtpro not working

i'm attempting to use it through the cassette ports on my two plus but i keep getting "GARBAGE RECEIVED FROM HOST" message
i followed the boot strapping instructions to the point of trying to make a disk copy and it won't let me recieve.

Hmmmm. If the bootstrapping instructions work, then the host->Apple direction seems like it ought to be working. I wonder if the other direction is working correctly. You might try swapping your cables around to ensure that they're both OK. You might recheck your volume levels - make sure output and input are both at about half way up.
