how to rig up a 12 vdc power supply for an apple IIc

my apple IIc has a 7 pin male connector to which i want to rig a 12 vdc power supply.
i will probably only need 2 of those pins, 12 v and ground.
has anyone tried this or do you know which of those 7 pins to use?
