Yep, it is enough and is just a direct swap-in.

The analog board only matters if you're trying to swap a CRT. Note that if you get a checkerboard pattern with the new motherboard, it is due to leaking caps (common on Classic II motherboards) and not something wrong done during installation.

I assume you haven't put the rear cover back on yet. The Classic II has additional ports on the back. If I remember correctly it has an audio out and microphone port where the Classic doesn't. You will have to drill small holes for them in your rear case.

yeah, that is unfortunately due to leaking caps (in my experience).

The Classic II motherboard can be recapped if you are fairly skilled but can be tricky.

Yep, the traces can be annoying. x_x

Just a note that the Classic II board is kinda cramped, so you need to add some extra care.

Check the motherboard for any obvious leakage (a Coke-like dried liquid on the board, corroded pins, etc.) If you run into corrosion/leakage, use a old toothbrush and soap or Q-tips and rubbing alcohol to remove it.

Supposedly you can put the motherboard in the dishwasher and let it dry for a couple of days to clean it off and do a temporary fix.

the sound problem also in an SE/30

The sound in this SE/30 is very low both the internal and the external. It is low but clean and without noises. Time for a recapping round?

Hehe, I found it online. If you're curious about the dancing guy, he's from Karateka (which was released for the II series, although those sprites are from the NES version).

This guys sells tantalum replacement capacitor sets for the SE/30. The difference between tantalum and other (electrolytic, radial) caps that you may find is pretty nice; these are better.
