Question

Would the 333mhz iMac motherboard work in a Rev B. iMac that currently has a 233mhz processor?

Yes

The 233, 266 and 333 logic boards are mostly the same. The original 233 board had a mezzanine port and an IR port that the later boards do not have. The processors are interchangeable.
