ZOMG Classilla: Modern Browser for OS 9
Discuss.
Thought there was a thread on this about a year ago, but darned if I can find it.
(edit: found it )
I tried an early release back then, but didn't find speed and compatibility greater than Wamcom.
Based on what I've read, it's a bit of a trade-off in that it has post-2003 security updates, but has more bugs/crashes as their integration is still a work in progress.
Might give it a try again to see how it's progressed.
Nodz. I hadn't caught it when it was first released, but I think it is cool that it is still being worked on.
It definitely reminds me of Wamcom builds, etc. And it's no Firefox 3.x. Gonna have to go with "not bad at all," though.
It's especially good when you consider it's a one-man project to port, compile, and troubleshoot Mozilla on OS 9.
Peace,
Drew
