I just saw that they are available at Shreve and Wegener at similar prices. Can I convince anyone to be a 'middle man'? I send you a money order (with a commission), you buy it with a credit card (I have none)?

Holy cow, those prices are steep.

I cannot believe how high the prices are on replacement LCDs.

I thought these guys had gone out of biz a while back, but stand corrected (I am used to that). Have you tried eBay? I saw some MessagePads out there just yesterday. Most of the buyers I saw inidcated that they accepted MOs and even personal checks.

I got a lead on an emate, but

I got a lead on an emate, but no luck so far on the MessagePad. I'll probably not buy one from Shreve ($100+ for a 130?). I miss my newtons...
