Powerbook 145 w/vertical lines on LCD
August 31, 2004 - 6:12am
The picture says it all... It happened while I was playing Glider 4. What to blame (video inverter/flex cable/lcd/the dog?)? (PB145 6MB RAM 40MB HDD)

My money would be on the LCD itself. It could well be the cable, and I'd surely check connections and wiggle 'em a bit to see if it halps before you buy another LCD, but FWIK that looks like something loose on the LCD itself, or on the cables inside the LCD housing. You might be able to wiggle some of the flex cables inside the LCD assy and see if it helps, but if they get wiggled a bit much in the wrong way it'll surley get worse!
;D
