FS:/T: Powerbook G3 pismo
Hello everyone,
I have for sale an Apple PowerBook G3 pismo. I am looking for around $450-500 or best offer. It runs perfectly, and would have a fresh install of Mac OS X 10.3 on it. It is the 400 mhz model. There are a couple of very minor (and I really do mean minor) cosmetic flaws, but they don't affect the computers performance at all. The screen is bright and clear with no dead or stuck pixels. I would also be willing to entertain trade offers. I'd be looking for reasonably modern apple desktop. Nothing G3 or lower. My long shot wish would be a g4 cube or a dual g4. To those of you that replied to a previous posting of this powerbook, I am sorry I never got back to you. I had, what I thought to be, a rock solid deal. Well, long story short, the guy jerked me around for a month and then fell off the face of the earth. His loss. I was just flooded with email about the laptop and I fell behind in notifying people of the pismos status. I'm sorry about that.

Any beige G3 no matter what the upgrades is NOT worth a G3 Powerbook of ANY type.

Do your research on how to stay to your own business. I was looking to add cash in addition IF he was even interested.
BTW, according to your posts for $400 pismos, I could easily part this out for that much, so do *your* research.
Well, regardless, the powerbook was sold a few days ago. Sorry I didn't updare this thread to reflect that. Thank you for your interest though.
A beige that is worth 400 dollars? Is it plated in gold? You can pick them up all day for about 60-100 bucks with good specs., they arent worth much of anything these days.
This is the last comment I am making in this thread, but yes they can be, when they have a G4/500, Radeon 7000, firewire, usb. Part it all out to high bidders, easily get $400.

I might be intersted and you might be as well. I have a beige g3 that is now a G4/500 and runs panther like a champ. It also has an ati radeon 700 w 64mb of ram, an 80gb hd and 384 mb of ram. (i have a post with it here in the marketplace).
