Hot Wheels Desktop Computer System

I'd like to get one of these too. Please let me know where I can find these.

They don't make them anymore. I purchased mine at a yard sale. Ebay has them now and again in the $150 range.

Hi, I read your message regarding a hot wheels computer. I have one I was going to be putting on ebay soon. If you are interested, maybe we can work out a deal prior. I have seen them go on ebay for between $150 and the low $200's. I have heard that eventually these will become collectibles by toy and computer collectors as they were in production for only a few months by a company called Patriot who went out of business before they could ship for all the orders they had, leaving a lot of customers stranded. Unfortunately I do not have the room to store all of my sons things that may or may not be collector items one day. His is missing the game console (steering wheel and pedals). Mine also has just had the battery replaced that everyone here is talking about to the tune of $75. I thought it was dead also, but figured it was worth a $35 estimate, and when he told me he could fix it for another $40, I figured what the hell. Too bad I didn't find this post earlier! Power and CDRom buttons or a new case altogether, Would also look at buying system, but would rather have parts since the system is not very upgradeable. I want to put a new board and processor. I really hope you can help...

Hi, my friend has a few units she would like for me to sell! I will be posting these up on ebay in a few weeks once we get all the systems together and tested.

I will post links here to anyone that is interested. One quick question. do you think people would prefer me formating these systems or leaving the current data on there?

Please email when you post these computers on ebay. I have a three year that loves hotwheels, and I am tired of him messing with my computer.

I believe that you should leave them as is and let the ones buying add or delete programs. Please let me know when you are ready to sell. I have been searching for a while now.

Careful of paying too much for one of the Hot Wheels computers. The inflated prices are due to Hot Wheel collecting fanatics and don't expect it to be an investment of any kind.

The die cast collecting world is about about as screwed up as the Beanie Baby and Cabbage Patch stuff was because of Mattel and the Hot Wheels collecting fanatics.

I am DEFINTELY NOT a fanatic and i don't want to be ripped off. i'm just looking for a great Christmas present for my son.

I am looking for one of these systems for my 3 year old son for his 4th birthday. He is realy smart and loves my computer and the ones at pre-school. If anyone has one available reasonably priced and will ship to my address please let me know. Or if you have a computer that would suit him and is cheap. I know there are alot of kids computers out there, and I know kids grow up fast so I dont want to go spend hundreds of dollars on a new one that he will out-grow and need a better one. wow, way to expensive for a low end PC. you can build one allot better for around as much with parts from a few web sites and ebay. all this is, is a low end pc with a nice case ( if you can call it that)

Being a "low-end PC", and therefore the target of all Mac-fanboys, doesn't exclude it from being a collector's item for those outside the reality distortion field.
