Power Supply for Gigabit Ethernet G4 tower

I am looking for a power supply for my G4 GigE Tower. This is the 338W 22-pin type (Apple part# is 661-2332 or 614-0112). The companies that I've found on the web that have them are selling them for a pretty steep price (close to $200) but I'm hoping someone here has one that they're willing to sell for much less.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think a standard ATX power supply would work.
From xlr8yourmac.com, a standard PC ATX Power Supply doesn't have 28V DC and is not pin compatible (standard 20-pin vs. 22-pin) with the Gigabit G4 (mine)and later G4 systems. The GigE power supply/motherboard passes 28 Volts DC from the power supply to a connector for the ADC port graphics card.
And even if it could be modded, I wouldn't have a clue as to how to do it.

It would be quite easy to make the powersupply output 28V...

Best method: 12V DV to 28V regulated dc convertor board. I once saw one of these in maplin as was very tempted to buy one. They need to be heatsinked, so epoxy the thing to the inside of the ATX's case... They also have auto thermal cut out.

Hard method:

Take the 12V dc line and use an oscillator to create an AC waveform. Feed this through a transformer and boost to around 34V. Then use a the voltage regulators to take that down to 28V and add filter capactiors... Alot of work, but there is plenty of space in the ATX PSU case for modification.

EDIT: Sorry Dead Elvis, I did not see your post! Anyway, the method described on your link is far better than my linear transformer. It looks like it uses a buck boost, switch mode?

Anyway, that will be alot more efficient than a linear boost...so go for that!

I really appreciate everyone's feedback, but I really am not looking to mod an ATX power supply. I just want a replacement, and am really not comfortable messing around with mods like this. If anyone has an Apple power supply that works specficially for the G4 Gigabit models for a reasonable amount please let me know.
