Problems With A Quicktake 150 and Windows PC

Hi all. I have had a LOT of problems with my quicktake camera. The camera itself works fine, it's just the software end. I installed the quicktake for windows software (after the quicktake for mac software wouldn't work). I received a cable that was mac serial to pc serial. I plug it in to the proper sides, one in the camera, and one in the computer, and then turn the camera on. Then, I launch the quicktake program. When I choose get slides from camera, it goes a little, then it says to make sure all the software is installed, the camera is connected, and the camera is on. Obviously, I did all of those. I cannot get the images from the camera. I can take pictures, no problem, but what good are they on just the camera. This has REALLY been frustrating me, and I would hope that somebody could help me. Please, help!

The camera does not have a add on memory card does it??. I had a bad memory card cause the same problem you are having but it was on a different brand camera (JamCam) if it does have you might try pulling the memory card and go from there

Straight from God

Right after I posted this, I tried again. It was because the AUTOEXEC.NT file wasn't in the windows folder so I couldn't run the program. Now it works. Pure luck is all I have to say. Pure luck. Thanks for the suggestion though.

QuickTake 100 software for Windows

Hi Dan,
I found in my garage an Apple QuickTake 100 camera, and I would like to see if it still works.
I wasn't able to find the Software for a Windows PC.
Can you help ???
