Latest model made from a Mac mouse
This is the USS Crabbe, NCC-210, a "Boilerplate" class patrol craft commissioned in the early 23rd century.
In reality, this used to be a MacAlly ADB mouse. A lot of Bondo and paint later, and two yellow highlighters which gave their lives to be the warp nacelles (which are bottom-slung and can't be seen here), I created a small starship from The Original Series Star Trek.
The decals are home-made, printed on my Epson 600. The Crabby nose-art is from the Mutts cartoon strip.
The model was photographed in natural window light, no flash, with my Kodak 3.1MP digital. The background is a NASA photograph, and Photoshop work was limited to a small 'impulse' glow at the back of the ship, and detail in one forward window that really can't be seen at this image size.
Not quite a hack, and not a vhack either, I figured RO was about the best place for it.
