I think you can.

The dock is just the desktop part of expansion. The NUBUS architechture is link directly to the laptop board meaning that the laptop is a open-ended portable desktop. My brother has stuck 2 video cards in his duo dock at one time. So, go for it!

Woot!

Cool! I think I will then!

Thanks

7" vs 12"

The catch might be if the Duodock can only take 7" cards. the Rocket is a full-length 12" card. I can't remember off the top of my head, you might want to open your Dock and see if there is room (or room can be made with a few mods)

Plenty of room

There is plenty of room for that.

My problem now will be finding the right ram simms to populate it.

hmm cd rom dive vanished

I installed the card, but my cd/Rdd has dissapered still has power, the os just seems to be ignoring it.

So??

Did ya get it working? I have got a Rocket II (with 128MB), but locks up. What Duo do you have? Me? I'm using a 2300 right now.

Really really curious...

IIRC it didn't work . . .

. . . when I tried it in my Dock, but I don't think I tried very hard to get it to work or to figure out what the problem was.

The Rocket takes standard parity or non-parity PC type SIMMs.
