Kinda busy round here!
Well, two weeks away and two weeks to get back 'in the groove' and this forum has suddenly got busy again!
I must say that I'm very encouraged, after being discouraged by the falling prices of CCs in the UK, which I took as a sign of reducing interest. It seems from the pattern of questions that new people are getting interested in CCs, and they are very welcome, as, inevitably, others drift to other things. Incidentally, a nice Mystic made £100 on ebay.co.uk last week.
The disappearance of the gazebing room was a surprise, because Japan has always be a centre, if not 'the' centre, for CC upgrading. The langauge barrier may prevent us from knowing the reasons for the loss of the gazebing room, but it's a reminder of the need to secure CC data around the globe - hence the 'MIA' thread which I'm sticking at the top of the forum.
Finally, as I mentioned on another thread, having come up with the Taco concept (beige G3 l/b in a CC with an LCD) but totally failed to get mine working, I bought Alexey Danilchenko's a month or so ago. It runs 9.2 very nicely, and will be used as a serious working Mac in June. As he, quite modestly, hasn't made much fuss about his success, I hope in the next couple of weeks to get a new Taco page up, showing what a _working_ Taco looks like!
Keep at it!
Stuart
