October Swap-meet - Florida

This thread is to serve as the official announcement for an October Swap-meet in central Florida.

The tentative meeting place will be Lake Monroe Park just south of Valdez along where 17-92 and I-4 meet. This park is located on the southern border of Volusia County and is not to be confused with Lake Monroe Wayside Park (which lacks covered picnic tables and is located across the river in the northern part of Seminole County).

The date is tentatively the first Saturday in October around noon.

I will start a new thread about attendees and goods when the time comes.

Unless the Swap Meet is scheduled for October 2006, and not this past October, I'd say that you missed it, sport. Eye-wink

It never happened...

Sorry, I took a job up in Atlanta and was never able to pull this through, so it fell by the wayside. I am hoping to try and do something early next year, but I only get to make it back down to Jacksonville on alternating weekends. I could more easily do something closer to Jacksonville (since astrorob and I are both there), but katmac had some pretty good stuff and some spare SE Macs. He is a bit south of Orlando, so you might be able to link up with him or me and astrorob depending on where you are.

As far as a more formal swap-meet anytime soon, I would like to see it but do not think I can coordinate one.
