Albook painted or bare?

hi,

I was going to try to use some paint thinner to really clean off my 12" Albook but i didn't know if they are painted or just bare aluminum?

The aluminum is neither bare nor painted

The aluminum PowerBooks are anodized. Some metalworking shops can help you remove the anodizing and reanodize it.
