Doom 3 on a eMac

I just bought a 1.42 ghz superdrive eMac. I got it thinking if I overclock it to 1.58 ghz (it shares the proc' with the mac mini.) that I could play Doom 3. Now that is not the only reason I got it but, who knows! Has anyone done this? Is this even possible?

The graphics card is probably the limiting factor here rather than the CPU speed. So basically there is nothing you can do about it. Go buy yourself a cheap PC with a decent GPU, or a XBox Eye-wink

Yeah, for less than $100 US, you could get a machine more capable of dealing with your video game addiction. Add a little more for a usb tv tuner, and you could technically play doom on your mac.

Xbox

I already bought my Xbox on sunday. I got Doom 3 LE. It is freakin awesome (and creepy).

I opted to plug my XBOX into my TAKKY color classic. The screen's a bit small for blowing zombies to smithereens tho. =)
