I replaced my trusty PowerMac AGP Sawtooth's clear case plastics with a set of Blue and White smoked white plastics. Also swapped was the power/reset/programmer switch buttons on the front face-plate. To retain the graphite look, the Apple side emblems were also swapped over.

I've now also got a set of G4 clear case plastics that would look great on a G3 B/W (maybe upgraded to a G4 ZIF) that I'm going to post in the for sale forum.

I think it came out rather nice. The mod is subtle yet made a big difference in it's looks. Hope you like it.

Very sweet... Makes it look much more sleek and sexy.

Though, personally, I'd still take one of Apple's old beige towers (eg; Power Mac 9600) over their newer stuff... at least the outside anyway Blum 3 I just find them more visually appealing.

eww...

Beige?!

(PS-nice hack, tried mixing case panels between those a few times and always liked the results.)
