Bob created yet another Macquarium; this one uses the shell of an original Macintosh (with signatures in the back and everything) to house three black neon tetras Moe, Larry, and Shemp.

This is my Sons Beta swimming at night with the Blue LED's that mimic moonlight. He digs it. Looks great too. We also have some RGB for looks. We made the mouse a bubbler. It works great.

Today we took the finished SE "Pinky" tank to school to "share". My Daughter really wanted to show her tank to her classmates. So we ptinted out the instructions and made a poster and wrtoe up or own Blog. It was alot of fun all the kids in class want one now. My Sons is the Platinum Plus and we showed off the Pink one in his class since his has had fish in it for more than a month now. We got two female betas Princess and Brownie.

iMac and SE Pinstriped

These are two I pinstriped today. I airbrushed the flames on the iMac. The SE Water Drops are acrylic paint done with a paint bruch and then pinstriped.

Got it waterproofed and set-up and put a Beta in it today. Pretty excieted to get started on the second one. My 6 yr old daughter really wants one.

CD Burning Macquarium

This is to the best of my knowledge the world's first CD burning fish tank. In this first stage, I have included a 20 cm cube fish tank on top of a 40x40x10 speed CD-RW burner. This burner currently connects to my laptop via a USB 2.0 port at the rear. The CD-Burner has been re-wired to change the headphone output port on the burner into a line in port. This allows for the headphone out jack on my laptop to be directly connected to the Macquarium, and from the back of the Macquarium wires connect to an amplifier. In the second stage, two 200 gig hard drives will be placed in the space below the CD-Burner, and these hard drives will be connected with the CD-Burner at a 7 port USB 2.0 hub. Left over ports will be used to provide a hub panel to the left of the CD-Burner, and there is a possibility that a USB port will be used to place a USB web cam on top of the Macquarium. Fan cooling options will also be investigated to protect the Macquarium from overheating and cooking the fish. Putting something under your MacQuarium is a good idea. Cookie sheets and cafeteria trays are commonly used, but Preston here has gone with a storage container lid.

This is the first Power Mac 5200 aquarium I've seen, and it sure looks good.
