It is here, that you find something the previous explorers had missed.  You decide to enter the bruised, yet still intact, Discovery.  A find like this would be equal to someone raising the Titanic today, which brings us to the object of the game:

You must somehow get Discovery back to Earth.  To save any unnecessary steps and to point out the unique aspects of the game, you should know that your first priority is to board Discovery and reactivate HAL.  HAL's role in the completion of the game is crucial...
