Apple II

Apple II?

Have a look at this photo.
What do you think this is?
Have you ever seen one of these before?

To me, it looks like a IIGS prototype
with the keyboard attached. (keeping
in lines with the other II series)

Imagewriter II issues

Hoping someone can help me out here.

I've had some ongoing problems with my Imagewriter II. It takes 15 minutes to 'boot' from power on, I'm suspecting there's a capacitor somewhere that needs to be replaced, as turning it off and on after it's finally going takes just a second.

Main board Identification

Hello,

I just got this depopulated mainboard in a lot I picked up. It has no names or numbers on it. The spacing and stuff looks like an Apple II style board to me. Any ideas?

Trouble booting

I recently picked up an Apple II plus, which the original owner told me was working the last time he had used it (many years ago). When I turn it on it looks like it is trying to display the apple banner but most of the characters are missing, the computer doesn't beep on boot either. I tried reseating most of the chips and removing any extra cards which didn't seem to make a difference. I'm not sure if there is a bad ROM or something, but was hoping to get some ideas of what I could try next. I attached a picture of what it looks like when I turn it on. Thanks I appreciate any help.

Apple II+ - Don't store that Apple in the garage (Fixed)

I've had this since 1982-83. It's not booting. Following advice I got a chip puller and started to re-seat the ram. To my surprise I find a spider nest? In addition, I took a close up of one of the RAM chips and you can see the years of neglect.
Not sure if I can revive this but I'm going to try. When booting I hear the beep and I get what you see in the picture on the screen. Any advice would be helpful.

Should I get a (repro) enhancement kit for my IIe?

I have an early one and I've been reading about the benefits of an Enhanced chip set.

Apple II Single Stepper

Apparently this was used in test engineering.
In Ireland.
The single stepper was used in the rework area -
failed motherboard would be examined by the
technicians using the single stepper and
could determine the fault. (RAM, shorts, opens)
