Audio Equipment (I'm a Bang & Olufsen nut)
Running and Weight Lifting
I just missed the beginning of the computer revolution in the 70's being born not too long after man walked on the moon. My first computer was a white Sinclair kit bought from a popular mechanics ad and poorly soldered by me. My first apple was a II+ I got after a summer at a camp in Pennsylvania called Watonka that was a science and technology camp where I learned how to write a bubble sort in basic, crack copy protection on Apple floppy disks and solder correctly (I think I was 9 or 10 when I started).
I have a degree in Electrical Engineering, but have never used it. I stared out teaching email back when ccMail came out and moved onto being a Novell Master CNE in the early 90's. Since then I have been a IT Infrastructure manager, pre-sales engineer at a bunch of companies including a Testing software company that got bought by HP and am currently java field programmer for a software company that makes mainframe and distributed monitoring/management software.
I have 2 kids, the oldest who tag-team soldered a Mimeo Apple I replica with me Winter 2011(my mid-life crisis) and my wife is a former COBOL programmer.
