APPLEBOX

Apple II to IIGS - Sound and Speechcard
    ( still in development )

 text will be added soon......

At the moment the part with sound from the AY-3-8910, which is compatible with the Mockingboard is finished.....
the part with the SSI263A is completed and it will be kept sompatible with the existing cards of this type...
the part with the cheaper and easier to get SP1000 and the part with the ADC0832 will be able to perform speech and speechrecognition ! .....
so at the moment the parts printed above in red ink are completed in the circuitplan and the card-layout will be completed tommorow.....
at the moment i just can state that i have to enlarge the card quite a bit to fit all the stuff allready realized in the circuitplan on the card....
but just at this moment that card will allready knock off any competetion with any of the other existing cards that has ever been designed
for the apple II series ..... i was now forced to enlarge the sheet for the circuitplan up to the scale of DIN A2 just even to fit with the plan
at the moment if that plan is to be kept readable.....

the part with the 76489 will perform additional soundeffects similar to the AE Phasor card and it can also be used for recording
sounds....  and it also shall perform as MIDI-interface....

so at the speed of the moment i guess the entire card to be finished with circuitplan and layout at the end of this month.....
