hey my powerbook 1400 battery bay is loose the batterys more around a bit and cause rebooting all the time what should i do, should i open her up and atempt to tighten everything?

If I remember correctly,
Some Powerbooks suggested a "shim" connected to the battery to keep it stable.
Wallstreet era...
perhaps some tape or such,
Not much you could do internally.
