Peripheral card info help

Got me an MPC Peripherals Corp Apple ][ Memory Module. Problem is I have not a clue what the switch on end of card is for (exactly like the switch on the Apple ][ rom card)
Could not find any documentation online so thought perhaps someone here could help?

If pictures needed I can do that just no access to take and post them right now. Could post photo later this morning/afternoon if needed.

a2m2010 apple monitor contrast question

Had a simple dumb question. I have a a2m2010 monitor. When I adjust rear brightness control just before there's lines on the screen. How far should the side contrast control be up. Does the contract on those monitors get that bright?

For a decent picture I need to turn it up 80-85 percent on the contrast knob. I admit like it all the way turned up almost near the brighness.

Wondering if its normal. Weak tube?

"remove write protect tab" message

My system is an Apple IIe ][ with a DuoDisk controlled by a 655-0101 IO card. After years of reliable operation a problem has developed.

I get false "remove write protect tab" messages when trying to read Visifile or Appleworks data discs even though these discs are notched with no tabs. These data discs cannot be read. The message also appears when trying to initialize blank discs with DOS or ProDos masters, again notched with no tabs. Discs cannot be initialized. These problems exist on both drives.

Robotics Kit for Apple II I just acquired

So made a trip to Allentown, PA recently (about 80 miles from where I live in NJ) and picked up a Platinum //e and a Robotics kit. The control board, interface card, instruction manual and VHS instruction tape are still sealed in their original packaging. The arms, joysticks and battery eliminators are loose. Just curious what people's reactions are to this stuff since I have NEVEr looked into the value of robotics (other than how much I spent on Mindstorms stuff over the years for my son and I)

ROM for Emulator question

Ok, looks like it's time for another dumb question:
I've been using the normal Apple ][ and //e in my emulators, but I was wondering if there's a ROM for //c or //c plus, and where can I get them or create them? I tried with a BIN file for the //c ROM4 with no dice.
Any ideas?
