Apple II clone power supply repair

I have replaced some of the capacitors on a power supply that I have that has come out of an Apple II clone (MICRO II) but I want to test it before I reconnect it to the board. The problem is that the +12v was actually putting out (if I remember correctly) over 15 volts. All of the other power leads are in range. I understand that the power supply will not stay powered up unless it is connected to the board or is fooled. What I need is for someone to explain to me what resistors do I need and how to wire those resistors up to fool the power supply so that I can take readings. Thanks

Eprom burned! Now I have to figure out how to make a machine pin socket to accept the new Eprom.

Ok now that I have the Eprom burned now I need to have a socket made? Anyone in here know how to make a soldered machine pin socket? I have to figure out which pins to jump via small wires and add two long wires that I can attatch to a Single Pole Single Throw switch. This will be used for what's called Bank Switching. This will enable me to switch between a standard auto start f-8 to a non auto start f-8. It's just trying to figure out the pins and what does what will help in figuring out which ones to jump and cut.

Thanks.
