What cable goes from Apple IIe to Monitor?

Hi,

Just picked up two Apple IIe's, one monitor, one 5.25 disk drive and two unidisk drives. But NO monitor cable. I see a guy on Ebay selling the cable but was wondering if anyone knows if Ratty Shack sells them, and what it would be called at the store?

Apple 5.25 Drive making an occassionally horrid noise

Hi All, I'm new here and thought I would finally ask this question.

I have an Apple 5.25 floppy drive that makes an occasional click, and simultaneous higher pitched noise, compared to normal drive operation, that results in a floppy read failure.. it happens with multiple floppies that I know are tested good floppies.. and it doesn't happen with every floppy I boot off of.. it's currently daisy chained off a 3.5 Apple floppy drive, and then to my IIGS..

Random Numbers and Lemonade Stand

I was looking over the program listing for Lemonade Stand, and the following line has me confused:

2230 IF RND ( - 1) < .5 THEN 2233

It seems to me that RND ( - 1 ) will always return 2.99196472E-08, and therefore it can never be < .5. Or am I not understanding how the RND command works?

Apple II Power Supply Breakdown

Hi everyone,
I remember reading somewhere, and I'm sure it was on this forum, a breakdown of the Apple II power supply that spread over a few days, and was very detailed.
I can't seem to find it. I'm probably just looking in the wrong place.
Thanks
Martin
