Overclock iBook 366 FireWire

OK, so my iBook is in the mail! Acute Can't wait to get it here. Now, ive heard stories of overclocking 300's to 400mhz. Now from what i can tell, the 366 fw and the 466 are exactly the same apart from the processor speed. So does that mean i can safely overclock it to 466? i would love to go higher, but dont know if it would be safe. I just want to see how far I can push it. I can easily get another board if it frys, but i dont really want to have to do that! Anyone ever oc'd a 366 or 466 and would say how far they got it, but still working safely?

thanks!

ive seen a 366 clocked to 40

ive seen a 366 clocked to 400 and 433

ive clocked a 300 to 400. it was easy was very very stable

perhaps if you added a small fan it would be a little more stable and reliable.

when i clocked mine to 400 it got quite toasty

anyone know what a 466 would

anyone know what a 466 would oc to? found this site which gives resistor settings for the bus speed as well:

http://homepage.mac.com/ytotsuka/FW-e.html

if i got a 466 motherboard, it says i could get it to 82.5mhz bus speed with 577mhz processor speed. is this true?

thanks

ok, tried the 366 66 --> 453 82.5 resistor settings, but no change. according to system profiler, im still at 366 66. hmm. Ive soldered/resoldered multiple times but im still getting the same result. any advice? thanks
