I have an iMac G3 with Quicktime 6.0.3 on OS 9.2.2. Whenever I try to play .mov or .mp4 file I get an error message. With .mp4 files I get the error message . Whenever i try to open a .mov file I get the message . If you have any ideas on how to correct this the please help me. Thanks.

I entered all that informatio

I entered all that information already, but I don't know what happened to it. The message for .mov files is [You may experience problems while playing a video track in "X.mov" because the required compressor could not be found.]. The message for .mp4 files is [Couldn't open file "X.mp4" because an unknown error occurred. The number of the error is: -8971.]. I have tried multiple files of each type.
