hi all, i read alot about the atx imac conversions. i dont have an atx power supply, but i do have a G4 power supply, is there anyway to power my iMac 500 logic board using this?

and it would be much easier, as you could use the 18volt line from that power suply. you are lucky to have a spare one of those. now all you need is a case, just go to one of those computer recycling plases and buy an old dead pc(micron or such) that has a nice case
sorry, i believe you are wrong.
it would be just as hard, if not harder to adapt a slot loading imac to a non - ATX power supply.
