power socket on Duodock board

There is a square four pin socket on my duodock board. It appears in the pictures I have seen that I could plug in a 12v atx power cable to it, or at least the plug on those will fit the socket.

I seem to be searching for it the wrong way.

Any ideas on search terms for google?

The closest I've come to findin out what it is was a translated Japanese Mod page. Not helpful enough, although still very cool, I think there may be a "Z" in the name of this cable if that joggles anything.

Thanks

Kathryn

power for HD

That's the power tap for the optional internal HD, so it has both 12v and 5v. The connector was used also in other Macs, notably the LC series. Many folks source one of those and then either use an extender or clip and extend with extra wire.

Thanks

I'll go mooching through the bins at REPC monday then. Never know what you'll find there. This duo and an SE are the only macs I have so far and I'm determened to get them both settled before I sneak any more into the house.
