The whole point of a computer is to be a useful tool. If it's useful to the owner, then it's hardly a waste.

Nifty Mod

I think it's an awesome idea. I plan to do the same with a PowerBook 5300ce. There seem to be plenty of old Macs kicking around for pretty cheap, so if some get "refurbished" into different things like picture frames and aquariums, I think there'll still be enough computers available to be used as computers. They'll also have a surplus of spare parts from the gutted Macs for upgrades Eye-wink

I'd kill for a 3400! If u want a picture frame, get yourself a Pentium from a thrift store and rip it to pieces.
