Not that there's anything wrong with the Applefritter Blog setup, but I am trying to determine if I am going to keep up with a blog on a regular basis.

My wife has a LiveJournal, and I have set up a Blogger account. I'm kinda diggin it, especially since I can customize the look and layout of the blog.

Anyway, if anyone knows of a good blog setup, let me know. But for now, check out The Light of Darkness and let me know what you think...

Two questions...

Hey Reverend, I have two quick questions:

1) Is your last name really "darkness"? It's not, right?

2) What the heck is "weather control"? Is that just a weird way of saying that you work in the heating & cooling profession?

Just curious...

By the way, your blog looks pretty good. Ooops, one more quick question, are you planning to use real coffins for your halloween props?

1) No, the last name is not "Darkness". A few years back, a friend told me that he thought that I was Darkness incarnate. I looked at him as if he had just insulted me, and he explained that he thought that, like darkness, I was mysterious unless you knew how to move within me, in spite of me, beyond me. And that in a world where everyone was trying to shine their own light on things, I was a spot without light, just "being". At that time, I accepted the nickname Darkness. A year later, I became an ordained minister, and "Reverend Darkness" became my moniker.

2) When I say "weather control", I mean just that. Influencing the weather. Causing changes in weather. Ask eeun... Eye-wink

3) Yes... by which I mean that I plan on building a real coffin. Not a casket, a coffin.

Hmmm, you could have done a much better job controlling hurricane Katrina... Unless, of course, you wanted New Orleans to sink...

Katrina...

I would like to be able to say that the dry front that caused Katrina to decrease from a Cat 5 to a Cat 4 just before landfall was from me, however I cannot be sure of that.

There is a lot that goes into what it is I think I do. Unfortunately, I am not a god...

Local churches have begun taking in evacuees, and I will be doing my part to make sure that as many needs as can be met will be met...

Pot would be legal, tobacco would be healthy, and beer would be mandatory.

Oh no, I can see it now... WilliamAhearn has inadvertently started the official Reverend Darkness for God campaign...

I feel that the Darkness for God buttons and Vote Darkness for God posters and bumper stickers will soon be showing up all across the nation. Eye-wink
