Is the search for the Holy Grail over?
Submitted by Dr. Webster on September 7, 2011 - 12:37amStumbled across this link over at Make...basically, it's a cheap ($33) LVDS driver board for LCD panels. Seems to offer a pretty large list of compatible LCD panels, though I don't know off hand if any of them were used in the Mac models most people want to convert into an external monitor.

Mac II Family Memory Controller Addressing and Address Space Decoding
Submitted by trag on August 4, 2011 - 9:05pmAccording to Apple documentation, the first 1G of address space in the Mac II family is allocated to RAM. The most any of the machines can physically accept is 128 MB. But, in theory, it should be possible to insert a card that decodes the other 872 M of address space and provides read and write access to some fast modern memory there.
